ABOUT
Emma is a San Francisco-based Production Designer and Art Director, as well as a recent graduate of the UC Berkeley Film & Media B.A. program. She has a decade of film industry experience, including training at Hollywood’s largest independent studio, (Sunset Gower Studios), interning for Legacy Pictures, and being awarded Best Production Design at the 2023 CAPFest Awards.
Emma grew up in Orlando, Florida alongside her three brothers. There, she began working in the family casting business, which has cast for projects such as The Florida Project (2017). In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her film career and education, (which also included a background studying the fine arts).
Emma’s influences lie in the intersection of other art forms and film, such as digital arts/video games, mixed media arts, editorial fashion, and animation. She deeply admires the work of Gregg Araki, Kazuo Satsuya, and Walter Wick— and hopes to create her own worlds in the space between kitsch and whimsy.
